DIY Ribbon Hanger

I posted my DIY Ribbon Hanger a little over 2 years ago and I'm still in love with it.

I repurposed a curtain rod and shower curtain rings to hang the ribbons. I designed it so that the rings are easily detachable so I can remove an entire section.

Yes it takes up a big section of a wall in my room but it's so colorful, like a rainbow in my room!

You can go to my original post with the full tutorial HERE

Your ribbon organizer does add some beautiful color to the room. An added benefit is that you can see the ribbon and so would use them more often.

Well, I am as International as they get with living in Northern Ireland so I cannot enter your giveaway. But I love your ribbon storage. I actually hang mine in a similar fashion, but use the empty rings that my redline double sided tape comes on to put my ribbons on. I have an over door hanging "thing" (very technical term) and I hang the rings with the ribbons off it. It makes the back of my door look lovely and colourful. Lee x

What a thrifty and inventive way to make the rings removable! I, too, love the rainbow effect-- nothing like something pretty to get my creativity moving. Thanks for a truly workable-- and inexpensive-- way to organize.
Best Wishes,
Mary

Such a pretty way to organize your ribbon! Plus...having it in sight probably helps to make sure you use it more often----mine is all tucked away in boxes and I realize now that I hardly ever pull it out.

Shirley said...

Your ribbon looks like an art piece itself. I have too much ribbon to display mine like yours but it's a great idea. Thanks for the chance to win the goodies.
