Here is my altered frame........
I have a collection of frames that have followed me for a few moves. I love this frame, but the matte was a little blah.
I removed the matte, flipped it to the back & drew out my design ideas.
Each picture has another matte with an embossed design. Using distress ink on the embossed areas & then glimmer misting the entire matte helped get me started.
I also used several stamps and a mask with more glimmer mist.
The paper is all from Basic Grey, the flowers are from Prima, some were misted.
The banner is made with CTMH chipboard banner shapes & the paper was cut out using the Art Philosophy cartridge. The gems are from CTMH as well.
I love how much this frame was altered.
Best of all my husband absolutely loves it & was so happy that I made this for us!

and here comes Cicily with another outstanding project! Very nice!
very pretty! I'll have to do that with some of those collection frames I have around.
Cicily WOW WOW! Love this and definitely not enough explanation on how you did this lol...did you cover the existing mat with scrapbook paper? Are all the images (minus photos) stamped or is that the design of the paper? What size is this? Can you tell I absolutely love this???
Nicely done, Cicily! I love how you simply flipped over the mat and sketched out your idea there.
It is always nice hopping with you and the KCC.
Fondly,
